Pejawar Matt Swami visit to school :
It was an auspicious day for Manipal Sharada Public School. His Holiness, Swamiji of Pejawar visited the school. He went around the school inspecting the classes, accompanied by Mr.Ramanathan,Managing Trustee of the school and the Principal, Mrs.Jayashree Muralidhar along with the other trust members. A demonstration about the usage of ICT board for teaching was given.The Swamiji blessed the students and staff. Later he planted a sapling as a remembrance of his visit to the school. View Photos
Janmashtami :
At Manipal Sharada Public School, Mysore the auspicious occasion of Janamashtami was celebrated with pomp and show. It was celebrated with religious fervour and several colourful programmes were organized to mark the occasion . The function commenced with the tiny-tots dressed up as Radha-Krishna presenting a charming show and children also played the Dahi Handi.
Students presented cultural items which also included singing bhajans and dances presenting the life of Lord Krishna. Competitions like colouring the pictures of Lord Krishna, Dahi handi, Fancy dress were also held. The celebration ended with the beautiful Idol decoration of Lord Krishna. Teacher talk in the Assembly included details on the values that Lord Krishna stood for. View Photos
